Default Fitting 5x112 wheel onto our Lexus

ok guys before the burn, I did a 3 hour research from other forums and it seem like it is safe to say that the best way to fit a 5x112 wheel onto our 5x114.3 is simply taking our wheel to a wheel repair shop and what they will do is drill the hole slightly bigger to accommodate both 5x112 and 5x114.3. Than you would need tuner lugs to fit in better than normal lugs. Am I correct on understanding this? And it is simply because the sizes are not way off like if we decided to use a 5x120 size it would definitely not fit and redrilling requires stuffing the original whole and drilling out a new one. But for those that had this issue, it’s pretty common, get a wheel repair and make those holes bigger. Now my question is, does that mean that it is now interchangeable between two companies? Please help wheels gods!

There's two methods. One is to slightly bore them out which I have seen done or two is to make the hole much larger and hammer in an insert.

2nd option is most commonly seen when getting wheels with bolt patterns that are much larger or smaller in 1-2mm like 5X120 to 5X114.3 or 5X114.3 to 5X108.

If you do go this route, I would either open up the center bore so you can run common sized hub centric rings unless you can find one that is 66.56 - 60.1.

Common size hub rings are like 73.1 - 60.1 or 72.6 - 60.1
