Default Going over a manhole and car handling

Today I went over a covered manhole that is 3-4 inches below the road level. Tire takes a dip, hits edge of road/manhole, and then comes out of it.
It is on my daily driving route. Usually I try to go around it but today there was a can next to me and could not swerve around it.

Right after, the car felt like it had a flat tire. In a few hundred feet it was driving fine again.

I was wondering, in such cases, does the tire take some odd shape after hitting an edge and then comes back to normal? I didn't have any problem afterwards.

Weird. Maybe you picked up a chunk of asphalt somehow, and then shed it. The tire isn't going to deform and then go back into shape.
