Default Tire Decision??

Need to get a set of rear tires on my 08 IS250. I need help deciding on which tires to get. I've seen a a lot of good reviews on the Bridgestone re760's, but also was considering the BFgoodrich g-sport as or Hankook v12's. My other concern was deciding between a summer tire vs. all season. Where I live there's hardly ever much of a real winter. Maybe a week of bad weather, if that, during winter season.

I would say just get a summer tire and if you're looking for something not too much into your pockets.. the Hankook V12 is a popular tire we sell.

You say you have only about a week of bad weather. What about cold temperatures with no precipitation? I've been contemplating what tires I will eventually get when my GS 350 19inch tires need replacement. I was just considering summer only tires, until I noticed a warning on tirerack.com stating that summer only tires should never be driven at temperatures of 20 degrees or below. I don't have much precipitation here in the winter either, but it can get very cold with no precipitation. Tirerack.com states that running summer only tires in very cold temps can cause cracking that is not covered by warranty. I do not know how serious a problem this really is, but it is something to consider.

Forty degrees out summer tires are hard and slick. Under sixty and rain pretty slick. Warm out, summer tires are great. When I lived in Houston, I ran summer tires year round on a couple of my cars. I never drove them in cold rain, or below 40 degrees. In the 50's I drove more cautiously like one normally would when it rains. I had 3 other cars with all season tires I could drive in those conditions. That's why I still use winter tires here in Kansas even though we don't get tons of snow. The grip in the cold, and cold rain is just far superior. Michelin pilot A/S 3's are great all season tire if you don't have but a dusting of snow.
