Default Advice on offset - 2006 GS

You're probably sick and tired of people asking about offsets but this area is not my forte. I'll probably get grilled. I've dug through a bunch wheels specs in the 3rd gen GS wheel section to see if someone has already answered the question.

To the chase. 2006 GS300. I'm currently riding on the stock 18x8 45mm from the GS430. I'm not looking to plus size one. I may be trading the vehicle in a couple of years but the previous owner did something to all 4 wheels. I don't know how but one was center bent and that was replaced. Then the other ones were bent and that was repaired and now I'm dealing with a slight vibration. So before I start finding some refurb OEM rims, I was thinking to myself last night, I'm just going to buy a new set of rims.

I'm looking at some 18x8.5. I think the stock tire size will work fine. The offset is what concerns me. Would an offset of 35mm be ok or would 30mm sit flush? I'm not lower either.
