Default Michelin vs. Goodyear tires for RX330

I just got my Neptune Blue RX330 with light gray leather on 2 days ago. Love it! I originally requested Michelin tires and was told "no problem", that if the vehicle came in with Goodyears, they would swap them out for me. When I picked up the car, it had Goodyears. There was no other RX330 available to swap for the Michelins. (These 330's are flying out of the dealer) Next week, a new allotment of 330's arrives and the deal to switch tires is still available. I'm talking 18 inch tires BTW.

Should I bother? So far the Goodyear Eagle RSA's seem OK, but not entirely sure. Is there a real difference between the two brands? Consumers rated the Michelin MXV4 fairly high recently, especially for rolling resistance, which is good for mileage. I'd love to hear some knowledgeable answers. I'm interested in quietness (if there is such word), treadwear, dry and wet performance, and snow handling.

Thanks guys.

Ours came with Goodyears, but we only drove ~100 miles on them, then the dealer switched to Michelins because we had a vibration problem at >70 MPH. Excluding that vibration issue, the only comparison I can provide is that the Michelins provide a smoother ride.

If this is going to be a neighborhood car, the MXV4 is a good tire. If not, see if the Cross Terrains are an option.

Here's the link to the results of an online survey by Tirerack customers of the Goodyear and the Michelins MVX4. Basically most people liked the Michelins slightly better and most would not buy the Goodyears again.

Thanks, eyebike. I've already looked at the polls at tirerack.com.
I'd just like to hear some real life personal reviews and recommendations from Lexus owners.
I have a one shot deal switch to Michelins available to me later this week.

Thanks.

I'm scheduled to switch to the Michelins tomorrow morning (Tuesday).
Any last minute opinions would be welcome.

Thanks again.
