i'm running nitto nt555 right now. they're pretty good i dont have many negative comments about them. The tire that seems to be all the rage right now seems to be bridgestone SO3's. Kinda pricey but might be worth the money if ur going for performance.

I also have Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's it's alright for the price but to me it kinda have some vibrations. Even after the static balancing still feel some shakes.

I have the Michelin Pilot Sports and I am very pleased with them. They are quiet, handle water well, and stick like a dart on dry roads. You pay for that, and they don't have any mileage warranty. Most Z-rated tires don't.

I have 712's and am pretty happy with them, although I have started to notice a bit of noise as the miles go up. I would say they are the best bang for the buck though if money is no object to you.
This thread should be in the wheels and tires forum.

In general Michelin makes the smoothest and quietest performance tires. The Pilot Sport also have excellent wet traction. Of the tires listed I would go with the Michelin Pilot Sport. The Pilot Sport AS would have an even better ride quality but would give up a little in handling. It is also an excellent wet weather tire.
