Falken tires
What do you guys know about Falken tires...I have a buddy who is looking to sell his rims and the guy wants to trade him a set of rims with Falkens on them...claims they are the autocross tire of choice...is that because they are cheap and can take a beating or because they are good tires?

most places that sale wheels offer u falken or nitto tires as part of the pakage , but if u want toyo or bridgestone's u must pay more, i think its cus they get them cheaper , i had falken b4 255/35/20 and they were fine xcept 4 roadnoise, but than again it was the fisrt time i put 20's on my car so stock was all i was used to, i don't think falken is bad just cheaper than other brands which overall r better.

i dunno about the autocross one, but I have the GRBfk451 in 255/35-20 and it is a good tire, durable, good wear, etc. I'm in the same boat as bluelex when it comes to the noise. These are the second set of 20s i have had on the car, so I dont know if the extra noise is a attribute of the tires or just 20s in general
