question about wheels
i have never owned a offset wheel before, what am i getting into? I am going with a 8.5 up front and 10" in the rear, a 245/35/zr20 nitto and a 265/35/zr20 i think. I can't recall off hand, will i need anything special or will i be able to just have he alignment shop put them on when my car gets readjusted. need input quick, thanks

I am not a wheel\tire guru but from what I read, it seems people usually link up a 275 on a 9.5 or 10" wheel. I think the 275 on a 9.5 has a flat sidewall and a 275 on a 10" would have a slight stretched look? It depends on the tire I guess. With that being said, I figured a 265 would be a squared up on a 9" and semi stretched on a 9.5. Hopefully someone else will chime in here, we have some pretty good people on here to answer this question, or the answer may lie in the search button.
Also, what do you mean by an "offset" wheel. What are the offsets on your wheel?

fireballs,
It really does depend on the make, however, here is my experience. 9.5" width with 275x30 Michelin Pilot Sport was perfect - square look - tire goes stright up or down from the sides of the rim. 10" width with 275X30 Bridegestone Potenza SO3 was slightly stretched - rounded look - tire goes somewhat inward toward center of rim from the sides of the rim. IMO, 265 on a 10" would look too stretched, but that's just my opinion. It depends on what look and feel you are trying to achieve and also if you are looking at radically lowering the vehicle. BTW, what type of vehicle do you have?
