Default 2016 IS200t Rim Damage Advice Needed

First of all, thank you so much to those who are able to provide some constructive feedback.

Just recently I was making a tight right-hand turn when an oncoming suburban forced me to cut the turn that I was making closer than I would have liked and my rear right tire hit the curb and scratched three different sections of my rim.

- Do I just need to replace the rim or can I get the rim repaired?
- Any idea regarding the cost?

Thanks again for any assistance!!!

Yes it can be repaired. Find a wheel repair shop. Usually it costs between $75 and $200. Depends on how much work. I would say your are on the low end. Bent lips and stuff like that are on the higher end.

That's minor curb rash. Any competent wheel repair shop should be able to take care of that.

I think mmarshall is a little off base on his claim. He could be right that there might be some cost savings, but the still have to reverse everything. Many Toyotas have a RHD version and everything is just reversed. I doubt the claim of just cost cutting is correct.

I hit a curb just a tad when my GS was a couple of months old. Waited fir winter to end, dealet charged $150 each rim, gave me a loaner. I know they rotated my tires, i have Perrelli's on the car. I noticed another scrap like your yesterday on the other side, i have no idea what happened. Did not hit anything, no pot hole. Will bring it in and see what yhe dealer says, not sure it they rotate front to back or left to right with these tires. These rims seem very delicate.
