So I just recently started to get annoyed that my wheels too deep into the wheel wells. I have 19" G35 Rays on my GS400 and was looking into 12mm for the fronts and 22mm for the rears. I thought that if I just put in "12/22 mm spacers" into amazon, I could just pick up a set and throw them on. Now I'm seeing something in the description that says "Extended studs required" Where do I get these studs and is there a specific size I need to get?

Now I currently have 25mm spacers I picked up from a CL member that had these studs already in them, so all I had to do was place them directly over the oem studs and then tighten the bolts that it came with. Is this safe or do I need longer ones?


What do you think of these 25mm sapcers? Should I go down to a 22mm? I haven't rolled/shaved the fenders yet. This was just a test fit.

I am running the same wheels with some 235/35/19 Pilot Super Sports all around, but I have 2 pairs of rear g35 Rays wheels (19x8.5 +33). I have a 15mm spacer in the back and it tucks just barely with no fender mods and the front a 3mm spacer, no fender work either.

You can use a hubcentric bolt on type of spacer which do not require new studs, typically has to be 15mm or greater in size though, as you have purchased. Spacers need to be properly torqued and checked at every oil change especially if they are not hubcentric and bolt on. If you don't have the bolt on style, yes new studs are required no question unless you want to risk the wheels coming off (some people get away with very small spacers, just need to make sure you have plenty of threads).
