Question L-Sportline M4s

Hey everyone. New to the board.
I have a 98 Black GS400 w/ a WIN kit on it, but stock 17" lexus rims.

Here is a single pic, will post more pic

I want to get some 18s for for the summer for somewhere around 2k. I am considering the L-Sportline Model 4 single-piece rims in silver w/ toyo FZ4 tires for about $2300 shipped. I'm not really into GIANT deep dish chrome rims....I want something that'll look right on the GS, but still sporty.

Does anyone have pics of a GS with the M4s on it?
How do you guys feel about the M4s on a GS, I mostly see them on IS.

Thanks

Welcome to ClubLexus!

We've got a forum specifically devoted to wheels and tires here and I'm moving your post there. One of the wheel gurus will certainly be able to help you out.

If you're planning on dropping your car sometime in the future, you should get bigger rims. This is my car when I had the WIN kit with 18" rims and a ~1.5" drop (not exactly sure about the height drop).

Kev,

Nice pic man.

Im really nervous about dropping the car. Im in boston and the roads are NARSTY and the kit extends the bumpers/skirts pretty low.

I was gonna go with the 18s, but maybe if I don't drop Ill go with a 19?

I just wish someone had a pic of the M4s on a GS.

Talking

I am in beverly just north of boston and have 19's on my car. The car rides great, also if you post in the photoshop forum and ask them to put the wheels on a car they can do that.

I would go with the 19's. Where have you priced your wheels?

Personally, I think the M4 (one piece) is ugly...something about the way the spokes are on that wheel isn't right (but it looks good as a 3-piece) I would some other wheels...if you want 1-piece, I would do something like the AVS Model 5...you can also get some 18" RAYS for not too much money...they make some very good "sporty" wheels...talk to GS4WILL for a price..

I've seen the wheels on a bunch of ISs, but never GS. What do you all think?

[btw, nice cars jcramair....whered you get the vid work done in the GS? Im originally from Salem]
