tires
Here's what I run on my 18x8 AT Italia rims: Yokohama AVS ES100 245/40WR18
Good tires, great grip, not too much noise, excellent wet traction, but they do tend to tramline on rough surfaces. Got to http://tirerack.com to check out the tires and read the reviews. Thats where I got mine (w/ the rims) and I am very satisfied with the products and service.

Yeah, agreed, go to tirerack.com and do some research and comparisons on the tires you think you want. It all depends on what you want the tires to do for you. If you want some really decent tires that last a really long time and are cheap, get some kumhos or yokos. If you like to do some spirited driving every once and a while, consider some of the better yokohama paradas, continental or even pirellis. If your heavy into the importance of your tires and strongly believe that everything in your car is there to make the tires work, consider some bfg g force TAs (sticky) or what i have, which is michelin pilots! Which brings up another big point, your budget . BTW, i've had every tire mentioned above atleast once before.
