Need opinion on what wheel would look better? 20" Chrome Lowenhart LD-1's are 20 Black LD1'S with chrome lips! I have a 98 Silver GS. Post pics if you have any thanks!

20 inch LD1 Chrome. Not too fond of black wheels on silver cars, especially the gs....just my opinion though.

not fond of black at all. and if you find black ones, make sure the quality is decent...painting a lowenhart is touchy for me.

and a black lowenhart? its a full-faced wheel, so people will just see a big circular chunk of black. think about it carefully to see it action first

IMO, I think you should go for the silver polished LD-1. They still look sweet and are easier to clean.

Nothing really beats chrome, though. Don't do the black.

Back centers (with high polished lips) look good on black cars...on silver, it can look good but I wouldn't do LD-1s...very played out, too many knock-offs, and they're heavy....with black wheels, you can almost do any style and it'll look decent since you won't really see the design of the wheels...you might as well pick a clean light wheel...

As for black on silver, I would have someone in the Photoshop forum do up your car with black wheels so you can see what it looks like...honesly, I think black wheels can look good on many different colors...you can also look into doing a dark graphite color (which looks great on burgundy colored cars too)...

too much black keeps alive that ghetto look of doing as much black as you can to try to look cool. Black car, limo tint, those friggin GTS headlight and taillight covers, chrome rims or bare wheels without hub caps. ooh(shuddering)
