Default Q......JDM Wheels on BMW 740i

Hey gang~I'm getting an used 2000 BMW 740i with 45000 miles and black ext/int. I'm going to put some JDM 20's on this car cuz I HATE those European wheels and people who own those wheels(they think they are on top of the wheel food chain.) Does anyone know how this conversion is going to be done??? And I believe with 740i front and rear offset(+20/+15) I might be able to get a 96mm front lip and 113mm rear lip(that's 3.8 in. front & almost 4.5 in. rear!!!!) Anyone know the stock specs. for those 740 factory wheels??? BTW......is that gonna look gay???

K...you would need the right PCD(5:112 or 5: 120 for bmw..not sure though?), and yes, the right offset..some JDM wheels like Zauver gettins, have custom order option for the bmw....it would look GOOD

Saturday was Guam's version of HIN - Island Import Nights. I saw a blk/blk 7 series with 19" Junction Produce wheels. The wheels are very nice, however , I think the owner had to put adapters which made the wheels stick out, IMO, too much. I'll post pics 2 night as I am @ work right now.

Most Work styles can be custom drilled for 5:120 PCD - the 7 series has an extremely low offset, so you can take advantage of some of that dish that most cars cannot have.

If you are interested in any of these styles, I can custom spec and build some for you - I am a BMW/Mercedes specialist as well as Lexus. We are currently building several new styles for the M3 cars (Seeker CX, VS-XX, Equip 3pc DDC, etc...) with SICK 4" rear lips.

With the E38, you can get sick dish setups even in the front due to the virtue of a low offset - even on a high disk, 2.5-3" is possible for the front.

Hey Peter, I want to do 20x9 +14 low disk in the front and 20x10 +14 low disk in the rear with 96mm/108mm lip...........is that possible??? Or can I do 20x10.5 +16 Super Low disk with 121mm lip??? Do I need to re-drill the wheels or the hubs? Or there is an adapter for it?
Thank you so much for ur help and time

i dont think low disk will clear the E38's front brakes.

What wheel are you going to put on?

People, people, why not convert K's choice to GS430!!!! Why settle with a old BMW when you can buy a brand new GS430!!! Sorry Eric , but I have to tell the fellow members that you are deciding between the two car. I love the BMW 7 series, but you will miss the reliable factor of a Lexus. Anyways, go on now for your question... heehee....
