Default What Symbol is this?

I just had my car repainted and got it back on Friday. While it was in the shop I had the guys do some other things like send out two of the rims to be rechromed. I also converted all the Lexus symbols from gold to chrome. They replaced all the center caps and said Lexus charged $140 for the set. Take a look at what they put on - I don't think that is a Lexus symbol, but what is it? Maybe a Nissan Z? I have also included my old center cap for reference.

mods - please do not move this as this is a replacement for an SC400 center cap and I would really like to get some eyeballs on this (at least keep it here for a few days).

Thanks,
Ryan

I have seen those before - at a Lexus parts counter! It was on a set of aftermarket wheels they offered for the IS - I asked the kid behind the counter about it, he said Lexus threatened to sue aftermarket suppliers for duplicating the Lexus logo, so they changed it just enough to get the lawyers off their backs - I think it looks tacky. Are the rims you had refinished original Lexus equipment? If you paid a Lexus dealer for Lexus center caps, you didn't get 'em - raise a stink and get what you paid for!

Those are the 7 caps. Flip it upside down, looks like a seven. It has been discussed before on the wheels forums, I think.
