Question Best bang for buck wet/dry summer tires?

Any real tire experts out there? People who have occasion to try different tires themselves. What are the best "bang for your buck" WET/dry summer tires? I run a bit of negative camber so I don't want them to be too expensive but I value wet weather handling and great dry performance. I have been reading tons of reviews but I don't know what to believe. There are so many products out there.
Any technical tire review sites out there you guys trust?
Any tire great recommendations?

Thanks!

Achilles ATR Sport 2. In the wet, they're no Michelin Pilot Sport and probably won't last a track day beating. But at less than $110/each shipped, they haven't failed me. 30k miles from them easily. The first ATR sports are cheaper still by a few bucks but garbge in comparison. Quiet and grip very well in the dry. But I don't abuse my baby, so there's that.....

Alot of people may have negative opinions on them and other cheaper newer Chinese or Korean tires. Sure you're not paying for decades of RnD but your not paying for advertising either.

G/L.

Thanks KBB,
Looking hard at Hankook V12 evo and Continental*ExtremeContact DW so far. Will look into Achilles ATR.

Tire Rack is a CL sponsor and seems quite good at posting objective info about the pros and cons of the tires they carry. However, some aspects of their site can be pretty frustrating to use.

Thanks T2D2!

As mentioned, the Continental Extreme Contact DW is one of the best summer tires for wet weather traction. I love driving on this tire every time we test it. It also has a very nice ride quality!

-and another one to throw in the mix...the BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp2. This tire is actually built on the same carcass as the Pilot Super Sport, but with a different tread design and compound. I drove on this tire at the Ford Racing School last summer and was very impressed. We did have a damp morning, but not standing water. It never left grip.

Bang for the buck....I would have to direct you to the Sumitomo HTR ZIII. It's actually a really nice tire that will give good ride quality, not loud, and give decent treadlife. -and it performs in the wet, too.

Funny you should mention the Sumitomo. I have the HTR ZII on my "new" rear wheels and have been waiting for some heavy rains to see how much they improve on the death traps I was running previously. Who would think January in Oregon would be mostly dry and 55 degrees??

I have Achilles ATR Sports on my SC300, and they suck in the wet. Dry traction is pretty good though.
I also have BFgoodrich conp2's on my Mustang, and they are fantastic, definitely recommend them.

What do you guys think about the Nanakang Noble Sport NS-20? Cheapest performance tire you can buy on discounttiredirect.com in staggered lo-pro sizes.
