Default 09 IS 250 Tire recommendation

I have had my 09 IS250 going on two years and I cannot stand the Goodyear Eagle Sports that are on there now. The car has slid out on me more times than I can count even in the "snow" mode traveling at very slow speeds. Does anyone have a recommendation for an all season tire that is fine in the spring/summer but can also handle a little snow? I wont be taking it out in any major snow but I can barely drive in an inch of snow now. I'm not as concerned with price as I am with a quality tire that can be used year round.

Give Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's a look. Might get them myself, unless the purist in me insists on summer tires only for summer driving.

^^^ this.

I'm on my third set (120,000mi and going) and have been through many snow and ice storms in Oregon and Nebraska.

Thanks everyone. I have traditionally always purchased Michelin tires. I'm sure it was an anomaly but the previous two sets I had were dry rotting after a year and the tread wore very quickly ( I rotate at every oil change). I'm going to take a look at the Michelin's and Conntinentals.

The tread on both of these tires is very similar to the Eagle Sports I have on the car now and they are terrible in the snow, almost to the point where it is unsafe to drive. Does anyone have any experience putting a regular radial tire on their car? I'm wondering if that would improve handling in the snow more than all seasons.
