I have to replace the tires on my 92 sc400. A couple of questions:

I currently have snow tires on and need new spring/summer/fall tires. Nothing exotic ie. good all round grip, low noise etc and mid price range. The current tires were Toyos and I had no issues with them. Any suggestions?? Where would be the best place to shop for them. I live in Toronto.

An alternative is to buy another set of tires and rims and leave the snows on the OEM 10 spoke 16x7 rims. I have heard the GS 17" are a nice alternative. Any idea where to look for these and ideas as to cost for rims and tires?

Vern im in michigan...3 hours away from you!...for the summer the best tires are potenza's ....z rated (149+)...get them at costco...for about 130.00...they are excellent in the rain...but suck in the winter..i have the re 730's..for the summer...and get blizzaks for the winter....good luck...

oOh..tires...dunno much about them..but there's only one type that i get.. i love them..it's good on handling..great for all seasons...uhmm i think they're called the Dunlop SP Sport 5000. i buy them at Tirerack.com all the time...great tires..i tell my everyone with a lexus to get em..hehe hope it helps ;D
