Toyota JDM 18s
Alright, my camera has no optical zoom and is only 2.1 MP. Sorry for the quality.
Won't post. Check the picture gallery and search fever.
Here's a shot of the stock 17s and new 18s:
Yes, I know I need some L-tuned, would love coilovers but we'll see.
And here's a shot of the 18s:

Are those the wheels in this pic? It looks like them.
I mentioned those wheels in this thread from last October and I got them directly from a guy who is selling them on eBay.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=60169
The seller's name is ngobros2000@aol.com. You can contact him directly. I also checked with Steve Ganz from Carson Toyota (one of the ClubLexus vendors) and he can also get them.
I still haven't put them on my car because when I got them in October, it was too close to winter here in NY and given the winter we've had, I'm glad I didn't install them because of all the freakin' snow we've had this year.
fever, they look great on your GS. That's the first GS I've seen with them on. You beat me to it. They are sitting in boxes in my apartment and I'm just itching to put them on but I'm waiting until the end of March to give some time for them to fill some potholes here in NYC.
By the way, what tires did you put on there and what size? I'm going to get Sumitomo HTR+ in size 245/40R18.

Not only are those the same wheels but the rubber you're putting on is what I have. The idiots put on the Sumi HTRZ II Summers, which rank behind the HTR+ in every category. I found that odd, given that the HTR+ is the A/S version. I had to wait another two or three days for the HTR+ to come in.
Tires seem to be pretty dang good, not as good as my Michelin Pilots but so far so good. I need to drop it with the L-tuned shocks and springs (at a minimum).

Just curious what size tire you went with on this setup. I know the guy says you need 245/40/18 for the GS but wouldnt 255/35/18 for the front and 265/35/18 for the rear be a better setup?
I was just wondering how wide you can go in the front/rear of the GS.
Anyone able to Photoshop his pics to look like a Cinnabar?

Maybe one of the other members has some thoughts.

If you read this from the inside of the wheel, it says that you should not exceed tire size 245/45R18 so I'm not sure if going with the sizes you mentioned is a good idea.

Ahhh, I missed that detail. I wonder why they put that there. I would think that a 9" wheel could easily support a larger tire. Maybe something to do with the casting limitations?

I did a search on Google for vacuum and pressure casting and found the following pages. Look at the section titled "Counter Pressure Casting". It sounds like this is the best manufacturing technique for single piece wheels.
