Default Recommendation for Mommy tires

My wife's PT Cruiser is in need of new tires, 195/65 15. This is a Mommy running errands car. Good mileage, long life, smooth & quiet ride, good braking wet and dry and a reasonable price are far more important than the last tenth of a G on the skid pad. All season tire, no snow involved.

Any ideas?

For a good price, Bridgestone makes the Ecopia EP422, Michelin makes the Defender... Both would be great options...
