Can I use a non-matching side wall?
Long story short, got a flat the other day and had to drive a few miles until i reached a safe distance to add air. Now the bead is broken but still holds air. I want to replace it because the tire doesn't seem safe to drive on because it vibrates violently over 60MPH.
I currently have 255/35/18 on my rear wheel. I am planning to replace the damaged one with 255/40/18 and continue using the non-damaged 255/35/18 on the other rear.
Will this cause any problems?
