ssr gt3 vs tt
I saw a porsche carrera 4 on driving on Tinker AFB base today right after class. I caught up to him and asked to check out his wheels closer. He had ssr gt-3s in 19's on. Pictures do not do the wheels justice! Anyway,I was set on 18" gt3's, then decided to save money for other mods and get 17" tt chrome wheels. Seeing the ssr's in person though makes me think twice because they are so sharp. Ahhhh, decisions, decisions
Please realize seeing nice wheels in Oklahoma is like seeing a Rolls Royce in your neighborhood. Oklahoma sucks as far as quality car and wheel shops go.
Any input from you guys on the tt vs gt3 scenario?
Tim

I've had the 17" tt wheels and they are great. They look good, are very durable, have good width in the rear, etc... I really like the GT3's though. On most cars I would choose the GT3's over the JZA80 wheels... have you seen the GT3's on a MKI SC? I know the Supra wheels look really good on the SC but can't recall if I've seen the SSR's...

I'll probably end up getting the tt wheels and do other mods, but then when money permits, I'll get the gt3's. If they're still around by then

Check out this link. This is gt3's on a red car. I think they would look better on my green car though.

Ok, I found a set of tt wheels to buy. They are the standard non-polished non-chrome wheels. They have a bit of curbage on them. Is curbage repairable? I would have them chromed also if that matters.
Thanks,
Tim
