Wanted to know if the Yokohama AVS sports (18s) need a higher air pressure - I am at 37psi but my tires say max pressure at 51psi. I just looked at other 18 tires and they stated 35 max while my 18 (225 & 265) say 51? Should I fill up towards 50?

I had AVS sports on the stock 17's and ran around 42 PSI front and 40 PSI rear. On my 18's I run my S-03's about the same, which already results in a hard ride. The higher you go the harsher the ride -- and your handling does not necessarily improve as you are probably reducing the contact patch. Part of the fun is experimenting and letting the butt-ometer or other more "scientific" method tell you what's best.

that's too low. you should put in 41 or 42 psi cold, or around 48 hot

Okay, checked again last night. I was at about 38psi, so today I will run them up to 42 front and 40 rear psi. Thanks for the help
