Question

I have the stock 16's on my 99' GS400 and want to upgrade to the 17's. I found a place that makes the stock wheels and I'm all set on those. Any suggestions on the tires? Do I need to modify anything regarding the speedometer? I'm assuming they are the same height with low profile tires. What about the spare??

Thumbs up tires

I just recently found the Bridgestone Potenza RE730 as great tires. They're very similar to the Potenza S-02 Pole Positions but cost alot less and wear out alot slower. Go with something like 235/45/17. Ultra High Performance, Great value, nice looking.

How much are you paying for those stock wheels?

Cool wheels

GS400Wazzu, no change needed for speedo. Several posters on the old forum and elsewhere have also mentioned Yokohama AVS dB, Nitto NT555, and Dunlop SP8000 and SP9000 as good options. You'll certainly not regret the change.
