Default Help with shipping wheels

I need to ship out 4 16" rims with 225/50 tires. I can't find boxes that are large enough. Anyone know where I can get boxes that will fit? I need about 4 24x24x10 or 2 24x24x20's. I found 24x24x20 boxes at mailbox etc. but they are $20 each. What other ways are there to ship??? Would deflating the tires be ideal also?

Thanks in advance.

sc4oo,

Deflating tires will not help, and you dont really need boxes. UPS accepts them without boxes from anywhere.

If you have the tires mounted on the wheels, just shrink wrap them and insulate the top and botom to guard the rims.

Here is what Tirerack uses. http://www.tirerack.com/about/return_tires_wheels.htm

Be sure that each package does NOT weigh over the maximum per package weight specified by the courier you choose. Most times you can tie two wheels/tires together, NEVER four.

BUT, you need to order in "bundle" as in minimum order of 15 boxes...
