Default Help! Finally narrowed down to 2 wheels.

I am finally ready to buy my wheels and am getting silver 19's for my GS. But I can not decide between SSR GT3's and Yokahoma AVS 5's. What do you guys think?

SSR GT3s get my vote. THe AVS Model 5s don't have any lip. I'm all about lips lately

Thanks for the pic and the thoughts, I think I will probably go with the SSR GT3's. The main reason I was thinking about the AVS 5's is because I don't see as many people with them but I probably like the GT3's better. Now I just have to figure out sizes.

You know what...I've had the GT3s since ~Aug 02, and I have yet to see another GS with them on...granted I don't go to car shows and stuff but I do spend alot of time on the road in the Bay Area and even down to LA periodically. I did see a late-model Mustang GT convertible and also a 3 series BMW with them on though.

I wouldn't worry about not getting a wheel just because someone else has them across the country somewhere or you see them on the web alot. Just go with what you like, you will make yourself crazy going through all the different combinations.

Peace,
Mark Mac

even if they are popular, at least they're popular for a good reason, not because of price(fugly "DuBz" or focals)

I've always thought the GT3 looked a bit 'dainty' on a bigger car like the GS.

There's a guy near me with them on a Mustang, they look like they'd break if he did a burn-out (they won't, obviously)! I'd prefer a bit more bulk on a bigger car, personally.
