Default Best place to purchase tires..

Hello everyone, I am in the market for 4 new 245/35/20 tires and was wondering if anyone could recommend a place to purchase them. A good deal would be great

Get them from the TireRack.com. They have the best prices and they can recommend a place in your area to install them. If you decide to purchase from them, use the TireRack link inside the sticky thread at the top of this forum so that ClubLexus will get credit for the sale. Here's a link to the sticky thread.

You also might want to check out another large online tire store, Discount Tire Direct at http://www.discounttiredirect.com They compete with TireRack. If you look towards the back of any of the major car magazines, you'll see multipage ads for both TireRack and Discount Tire Direct. A lot of Discount Tire Direct's prices seem slightly higher than TireRack but that's because they include shipping in the price of the tire and then tell you that they ship for free so you might want to compare total cost before ordering. I happen to like TireRack's web site better because they give you test results from their own tests of the tires, reviews from customers and survey results from customers. Good luck.

Got my Falken Azenis for the GS and Goodyears for the Pathfinder @ Discount Tire all online. No fuss at all and drop shipped to my house the day the said they would. Prices were pretty decent and had the tires in stock.

This was all before I knew that TireRack sponsored Club Lexus though. You would think we get a some type of discount from Tirerack then...or do we? I paid full retail for my SSR GT3s from them.

I did some pretty exhaustive research beforehand so I feel pretty good about my purchase. I guess that is all you can ask for when making major purchases.

Peace,
Mark Mac
