New rear tires=bad body roll?
Ok, so a good friend of mine got me two take offs from the lexus dealer. They are pretty much brand new with only about 50 miles on them. I was coming from michelin pilot sports in the rear (245/45/18 and the car handled very tight in the rear.
The new rear tires are an off brand called fullrun F2000? I tried doing some research on the tires and it looks like they are big over in the UK. All we did is jack the car up in the rear and switch the tires out. When I left I felt a huge difference in the rear of the car. If you do a little swerve back and forth as if you are warming the tires, you can feel the rear of the car swinging back and forth. On the highway it almost feels a little unsafe!
I just wanted to get some opinions and see what you guys think, if its the tires or something else I should look into? I looked under the car. The only thing I see that may cause a problem is maybe the sway bar end links? But I dont see how that would change so much after just changing the tires.
I got these things for free and I'm starting to wonder if there was a reason someone got rid of them?
