Max width for standard 17" rims
I have the Lexus 17" rims and want to know what the max. tire width is for this rim.
e.g. 245/40, or 245/45, or ...

You can put any 245 width and up to 255/45, but not 255/40.

I have 245/45/17 slapped on the 17s. They are on the SC. 255s look weird cause the tire overlaps the rims a bunch.
