Default What model of HRE wheels are those?

What are those awesome wheels? I need some advice on putting wheels on my 99 GS400. How much would a set like those cost to put on my car in 19 inch rim size? I want to go with the standard L-tuned springs/shocks package and then put on a maximum of 19 inch wheels.

What is the maximum width size I can go for the fronts and rears? What is the widest tire size I can put on such rims? Please recommend the exact size - width, tirewall, speed rating for both front and rear.

I am a newbie at this and don't want to do something I will regret later. I want to upgrade the wheels once only and not have to mess with it again. I really like the lip size on the wheels on this car you have featured here!

Do I have to be concerned with offset etc? I intend to upgrade the brakes down the road with something from Rod Millen or any any other upgraded cross cut rotors/bigger calipers. Any and all information will be very much appreciated.

I still would have gone with some matching leather Recaros or something of the like.

Red screams Rice even with forced induction unless you have a track-only car...IMHO.

Wheels are SWEET!

Hameed...I know where you are coming from.

Use the search function and all will be asnwered.

I searched for "wheel fitment" and got this thread.

I am running 19x8.5 +43 high disk and 19x9.5 +41 low disk with 245/35 and 275/35 tires.

Personally, I would recommend the above with no less than +38 on the front and +39 on the rear.

If you want a 10" rim...go +45 or higher.

Good luck.

Ryan

My setup clears big brakes...have to ask for high disk fitment.

Hi Ags,

I have no idea what you are talking about regarding "high disk" etc. Please kindly explain to this newbie.....

Search my friend...search.

Just click the search tab under "forum" on the top of any page and type it into the blank.

I have read many good descriptions of high disk on CL.

If you don't have any luck, pm me or write here and I will tell you.

Have a good one.

Default Still confused

Hi, I just did a search and am still confused. Please send me an email at hameed@prudensconsulting.com with your phone number if you don't mind, so that I can pick your brains and understand this offset stuff and high disk thing.....

Peter, that car looks awesome, I really like the HRE's they look the part!!
Do your future upgrades have to do with parts from a certain scandinavian tuner?
