Default weird tire pressure story

i had just gotten a car wash and i was at the gas station puttin some air in my tires. i had finished 3 of my tires and the gauge had said 30 psi on each one before i put in any air and i filled em up to 32 psi. i got to my back left tire and was about to put air in and the gauge told me i had 11 psi in it. my jaw dropped, i thought somethin was wrong with the gauge or somethin but then just decided to fill it up to 32. 11 psi is just a bit low isnt it

Sounds like you got yourself a slow leak. You might have a nail or a screw in the tire. Happens all the time. The actual body of the nail in imbedded in the tire so the air escapes very slowly. You don't notice it cause it takes a few days to get low. Take the tire to any reputable tire shop and have them look at it.
Unless you got an extended warranty on the tires when you bought them, this patch and labor should run you about $25-30.

I speak from experience. This happened to me two weeks before Christmas. I had it fixed at a Bridgestone/Firestone shop. The next morning the tire was completely flat. He didn't do a good patch. Put the spare on, dropped the bad one off at the same shop and said try again, this time do it right.

Good Luck, I give you credit, most people don't monitor their tire pressure as often as they should.

Default DONT WAIT FOR TIRES TO FAIL YOU!!

tire pressure is important. actually, tires themselves are important. My right front tire burst on me, and i lost control and had my accident. Funny, cuz I *thought* I was careful w/ the tires...checking pressure everyday(!), looking for visual blemishes, etc...and the tire still failed me. Cost me $6000 (but more bills still to come), and left me w/ haunting nightmares for a few days. get the rim checked too
