Quiet Tires
Ok..I did my research, read past threads, and got a lot of good info, but what I am understanding is that all tires (even super quiet tires ) are going to get noisy with age. Are there any tires that anyone knows will stay quiet longer?
I have a 99GS4 with Yoko Dbs, I got them used with the 18 in wheels I bought and are causing super loud noise and vibration. especially when braking and lower speeds.
I am ready to buy new tires, but want to avoid getting into the same problem. My car is starting to get serious rattles.
I want at least z rating. no snow.

BFG g-Force KDWS, Z-rated, 400 Treadwear, AA Traction, A Temperature. Very quiet tires even after some miles on them according to various users on Tire Rack and Subaru WRX boards. In 18", they only have 2 sizes though.
We have 2k miles on ours (17") and they are great in the dry and in the rain, extremely quiet and very responsive.

MIchelin Pilot Sport AVS. Make sure it's "AVS". Go to Michelin's www and work through the tire selector. Pretty cool. These tires are so quiet I'm probably gonna put them on my LS400 next time. They are on my wife's GS now.
