Supra NA rims won't fit?
Hello, I recently got Supra NA rims, the 16" ones. I could not get them to fit over the center hub. My hub seems to have a piece on them that looks like they can be removed. Once removed, I am sure the rims will fit...
Would it be safe if I removed that piece?

SC4oo,
You probably have old centering rings from your other wheels stuck on the hub.
The Hub centers are just the black piece and should measure 2" approx. Only other thing on the hub center is the brake rotor.

Centering rings are names that because they center your wheels onto the hub. Some wheel makers prefer to bore out the wheel centers to a standard size and use different centering rings to make their wheels hubcentric. These rings are interchangeable with other sizes to fit several vehicles. They are suppose to be ON YOUR WHEELS not the hubs. They do tend to stick on occasion but you should be able to slide them off and insert them back into your aftermarket wheels. For obvious reasons, FACTORY OEM wheels DO NOT have centering rings as the wheels are built only for one vehicle.

Thanks bro,
I'll try to pry the center rings off. Just wanted to make sure if I took them off and wanted to put them back on, it would not wobble.
