Default DIY Brake pad change. Something wrong i did? Pic include

Today, i am trying to do rear brake pad change on my 2000 ES300. I have done this before on my camry and GS430. So, i am pretty confident i can handle it. However, after i push brake cylinder priston all the way back. i find out the rubber boost wrap the piston is fill up by the air. and can't push back. And i still put them back on. But when i do other side. the cylinder booster and rubber boost looks normal as how it supposed to. My questions is: will this damage my brake cylinder. how do i fix this problem? Picture shows as below. The first one is passenger side with problem. the second picture is the normal position. Thanks.
