Default Alloy rim with factory holes in the side wall

Hello all!

I know the title name may sound a bit strange but here is the situation.
My OZ Classe rims have got removable polished lips and due to various circumstances I had to remove them and I now ended up with straight through holes in the side wall.

My main question is would I be able to safely use these alloys with such holes in them, I mean would the tyre pressure be a problem, would air leak, etc.
Some of the e.g. "vip" style rims have tyres on that are so stretched that it seems that the side wall doesn't play a part in holding in the air/pressure.

I believe pictures will do a better job at explaining the situation.

Thank you!

You might be alright... While I have seen wheels with corrosion in that area leak, I have also seen wheels with complete sections of the lip of the rim missing and the tire still holding air, not leaking...
