Default Tirerack reps: Anyone heard or tried out new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3

I read great stuff on the new Pilot Sport A/S 3 coming this May/June. Reviews pitted this amazing tire against the summer tires and gave it favorable ratings that put the Pilot Sport A/S 3 at the top. Anyone one go to the test drive event? Any specs on the sizes of the tires and when they will be in your inventory??

Sorry, no information to provide on that particular tire yet. As soon as I receive any info I'll pass it only.

Ok, thank you Zig. I am a bit excited bout getting this tire because I have the current Pilot Sport A/S plus on my BMW 3 and they are great but need more improvements.

Not sure how the new ones will fare, but the RE970A/S is a superior performer to the Pilot Sport A/S Plus...

I agree but unfortunately the 970RE does not fit the Lexus GS F-sport 19 inch rims... Also, I prefer the Turanza Serenity plus over this one due to ride comfort. I find the RE970 to be a bit harsh despite excellent road manners. That's my take. I have seen great response online in terms of how well the new Pilot Sport A/S 3 was able to hold its course in slalom, braking, acceleration, etc compared to the summer performance tires and the traction advantage over the all seasons in its categories. People are saying this new tire is the perfect one for all seasons. So as you said, we will see how it does in real world driving.
