Default new guy! Need to know what lug nuts to use for is300 rims

Hello, i'm new to this forum. I have purchased some IS300 rims
and i was wondering what kind of lug nuts am i suppose to buy. I know my original lugnuts for my acura won't fit on the lexus rims because they are conical (i think...kind rounded at the bottom nuts). Please help me out. Thank you!

Default Get the ones from a Lexus parts dealer

You should get the lug nuts from a Lexus parts dealer, or the person you bought the rims from. Most likely he/she wouldn't be using them on the new rims they got for the IS. The lugs, (if they are at all like the GS) will have a flat washer surface where it contacts the rim, and be closed on the end that is exposed at the rim face.

PS: Your signature is too big. Please change it to conform with the Clublexus guidelines of 450X100.

I doubt a tire shop will have the correct nut- use the OE Lexus nuts.

The OE Lexus wheels (like all Toyota cars) use a 12x1.5 shanked lug nut with a flat "seat." The nuts include nice integral washers.

Your Acura (like all Honda cars) uses 12x1.5 ball seat nut, which are definitely NOT compatible with the OE Lexus wheels.

One othe note: you'll need to have the Lexus OE wheels' hub-bore (pilot hole, in the center of the wheel) opened: The Lexus bore is 60.1mm, your Acura is 70.1mm if it is a Legend Sedan or Coupe.

A good machine shop can do this for you, just have it done BEFORE you get the tires mounted on the wheels. It shouldn't cost more than about $25 per wheel to have this done.

BTW, the newer CL/TL/RL use a 64.1mm centerbore.
