hi all,

could anyone tell me if these tires would fit on my rx?
tirerack says my 18" oem would fit 235/55-18 tires


2 Michelin 225 40R18
2 Michelin 255 40R18

they would be extremely undersized... those are sizes for an IS250/350, for comparison reasons...

also, if your car is AWD, then you will quickly do driveline damage...

the 225/40-18 is 25.09" diameter
the 255/40-18 is 26.03" diameter

for comparison, your OEM tire size is 28.18" diameter

For an AWD RX350 this would most certainly damage the vehicle. Not to mention the GAWR for the RX350 is 2865lbs and even an extra load tire in 225/40/R18 is only rated at 1389lbs/tire. I would never recommend this fitment for this vehicle.

i just bought my rx 350 awd and i am thinking about replacing the tires, since they come with these cheap nexen tires...are we supposed to buy 5? so that the spare is included in the tire rotation?

Yes, if you have a full size spare and want to include it in your normal tire rotation it does need to match the other 4 on the RX.
