06gs awd question
Can I run 245 40 18s on the front and 255 40 18s on the rear without any issues? The key being 245 and 255 front to back. The car is a 06 GS300 AWD.

only if you don't mind destroying your driveline in the process... the car was designed to have all 4 tires turn at the same speed all the time - if you constantly have different diameter tires turning different speeds, you will damage the center differential and/or other related pieces that are usually pretty pricey...
it isn't even recommended to replace two tires at a time unless you are replacing with identical model with less than 2-4/32" tread depth difference from the existing...

mitsuguy is absolutely right, if this was an RWD there would be now problem but on the AWD all 4 tires have to be the same height. I know they're pretty close but that 0.3" difference multiplied over thousands of miles could damage the drivetrain. In my opinion the esthetics are not worth the damage to the vehicle.
