Default Need help: 18" Enkei Raijin wheels

Hi All,

See below

CT200h Stock OEM wheel:
17x7.0 5x100 +45
bore diameter: 54.1
tires: 215/45/17

V.S.

Enkei Raijin:
18x8.0 5x100 +45
bore diameter 73
tires: 215/40/18

Per offset calculator: -13mm on inner side and extend 13mm on outer side (based on +45)

Link: http://www.enkei.com/raijin.shtml

My questions:
1) Will this setup be possible for my CT?
2) The Enkeis comes in +32 offset as well, should I go with +45 or +32?
3) Should I go with 225/40/18 or 215/40/18?
4) The bore diameter is quite different, will this wheel even fit for CT?

Thanks in advance!

The wheel looks to be fine as a fitment. The ideal offset in 18X8 would be around 38+, so I would do the 45+ offset option which gives you the option of adding a 5mm spacer to move the wheel out more. Either tires size will fit on the 8" wheel and be fine for the vehicle. Keep in mind the 215/40R18 size will require an Extra Load or Reinforced tire using minimum 34psi.

Thx Zig!

What tire would you recommend ? (All season) I wanted to keep 215 to stay as OEM as possible.

And do you think I can re-use my OEM TPMS?

I am ready to order from you guys...

Yes, you can reuse your OEM TPMS sensors. The 2 very best all-season tires in that particular size and extra load/XL rated would be:

Continental Extreme Contact DWS

General G-Max AS-03

Sorry I am a noob at this...

But if I were swap the OEM TPMS to the new wheels (locally), I should request NOT to have them mount and balance from you guys at purchase? The TPMS is installed on the rim inside the tire correct?

Correct, if you want to reuse your existing TPMS we would ship to you unmounted. Otherwise the installer would just have to dismount them to install the TPMS anyways.
