Default Need advice on tire size

So I have the option to buy 4 OEM Lexus wheels with winter tires mounted (255/50/17) off of a GS350.

I currently have 4 OEM wheels with all season tires (225/45/17) on my 06 Lexus IS 250AWD that probably will need to be replaced before winter.

I tried searching, but please correct my findings:

It seems the IS250 and GS350 have the same wheel specs BUT

Will these GS wheels work on my IS250 AWD?

Will the 255/50/17 tires fit on my IS250 AWD?

I'm concerned about rubbing.

A quick Diameter calculations puts the 255/50/17 tire slightly over 2 inches greater than my current set up

Thanks

The wheels should bolt up fine, the offset will be a bit lower on the GS than the IS so the wheels may stick out to the fenders further than your stock IS wheels. However that tire size is an absolute no on the IS. Way too tall and little wide as well.

Awesome. This is just what I was looking for. I am going to pass on the deal.

Thanks
