Default Again Tire issue

The story behind is::

My rear tire went flat took it to tire shop been told it' side dent were air is coming from and unrepairable so I have to buy new one but I didn't trust him he offered a used which is fitted now in my is350 17" standard rims.

My Q is can I ran with two different tire brand on rear wheels one is Continental contact 3 and the other is roadstone ?

btw I bought the continental contact 3 last Dec

Sure, its possible, but not recommended... IS350's don't have any sort of limited slip rear, so it won't cause driveline issues, but, you will also have uneven traction from one side to the other... if it was leaking from the sidewall, or even the shoulder, then I definitely agree, not repairable, and a used tire is probably more comfortable to drive on than a spare, but, still not ideal... If the Conti is still in good shape, greater than 8/32's tread remaining, I'd recommend another matching new tire, if it is more worn than that, then I'd suggest a new pair for the rear, save the Conti for a potential spare in the future...
