Default Where is best place to buy new wheels?

My 2006 GS300 has painted aluminum alloy wheels. The paint is peeling off and is looking bad.. Should i try to have the repainted? Or buy aftermarket wheels? i want to keep it looking fairly stock to retain its resale value. It already has low profile v rated racing tires, so a nice set of chrome wheels would look great. Where is the best place to buy them? do the old wheels have any recycle value?
thanks, great group.

If you want the OEM look then get it repaired. Usually a repaint of a rim is around $200.

yup, I agree... will be hard to find used in excellent condition - most have been refinished anyways... might as well refinish yours if that is the case...

I have seen it as cheap as $100 some places, so, shop around for quality and price both...

A refresh would probably be the best option for what your goals are. Aftermarket wheels are fine if you want to add some of your personality or in the case of lightweight wheels, performance and fuel economy. Aftermarket wheels will probably cost you a bit more as well, so keep the stock look you like and refresh.

If you are looking to retain the stock look and feel, I'd suggest simply repairing the rims you have now. IF you go aftermarket, go through one of the site's vendors.
