I've asked many people in this forum on what can i do w/ my old rims(bersaglio's or for u americans Lowenharts) 19/8/48 offset.
So I decide to do a little bit of labor and this is what I got. To me they look nice and they fit good, mind u I have to drop the car an inch, and increase my tire so i wont feel everything. But, am i going to run to into any problems b/c of the offset or width????
Logicaly the rims i'm replacing are stock, and they're all the same size and diameter, so how could increasing the rim and tire cause a problem(need advice)...

Do u guys like the look?

I was just told a 48offset will probably, well more than likely damage my suspension, can any1 here agree or disagree on that???????????????????

What I told you earlier was that with a 19x8 +48 and a 245/40/19 (aka the "FAT" setup), when the car is lowered it may touch the inner suspension upon rebound/compression...but that was just my opinion.

The TL looks pretty nice there, though

Wheel Experts, dont get me wrong, due to your commentary, i have completly changed my mind on keeping the rims. I think i may just go stock 17"s and call it a night. Unless some1 out there has a similar set-up and can gurantee, or atleast be sure that I will not run into any problems w/ suspension...
there has to be some1 that has a 48offset..

Actually Gene used to have a 19x9 +48 on his SC430, and it worked fine. IT MIGHT JUST WORK!!!!

The only way to tell, is to get a 245/40/19 or a 245/35/19 on a test it out.

You could also just buy a high quality 5mm spacer...

Aa 245/40-19 on a 8" setup is not "ideal"...the "Fat" setup on a 8.5" wheel looks good but to some people, it looks a little "bulky"...on a 8", it's going to look bulkier...too bad no one makes a 235/40-19...

As for offset, you should be ok...compared to a 19x8.5 +41 that we did on the Weds (with a 245/40-19 setup), the 19x8 +48 will only be 1mm closer to the shock...it should fit fine...but like Peter said, there is no way to be 100% until you try it...

Honestly those rims don't look good on the GS, it gives the car a weak appearance, they look way better on the Acura. Its just my honest opinion!
