Kuhmo Tires
I know this topic has been discussed before, I just want to find out how much people were paying for the Kuhmo tires. I have put a grand total of 7,000 miles on my Bridgestone tires and I must admit, those tires suck a$$. The constant road noise, the terrible tread life and the $1,100 price tag for 4 new ones scares me away! Any help would be appreciated!

I remember 245/40-18s on tirerack for the Kumho ECSTAs were about 125 each
Kumhos are decent tires i've driven with them on the track their grip isnt that good at the limite but it sure lets you know ehrn you are at the limit
and otherwise its not too loud and it handles decently in the wet for a HP tire.
what kind of Bridgestones do you have? I have S02s currently, had S03s on different rims, and my friend has RE730s and as far as I'm concerned those are the absolute best tires out on the market (except for treadwear on the S02s)

People say the Escta Supra 712's are very loud and bumpy. But the performance is great.
I am currently using the Dunlop SP Sport 901's and for the price they are a amazing. They are kind of wobbly when you take hard corners but thats what you get for no reinforced sidewalls.

Once upon a time, I was in your shoes. Here's what I ended up doing. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sea...der=descending
Bottom line: thumbs down.
To answer your question: I bought 235/45/17 (stock 17 for GS4) for 115 ea. 500 for the set of 4, balance, and mount.

I think the Ecsta 712 is being fased out,and the newer MX is now for sale.
I checked to see about replacements for my 712s and they were no longer listed at Tirerack, but the MXs were(more $ too),and I don't know what improvements were made.

I've got 712's and I've been happy with them. I don't push the limits but they've always felt very good as hard as I've driven them, and wet traction is very competent. Mine have also been nice and quiet. IMO, they're a good tire for someone who doesn't drive extremely hard and is looking for a decent daily driver tire that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
