2008 ISF tires under 250.00 each
I need to replace my tires. Plan on doing all of them. Am looking for some direction on brand.
How are the Hankook, Continentals, Kumhos, and General? I can deal with a summer tire since I am in So Cal, but all weather is fine as well.
Any suggestions?
Michael

I've been driving on a set of Hankook V12s on my 2008 IS-F in stock size for ~4k miles now. They are an excellent street tire for the money. They ride quiet and are comfortable. The tire really comes alive after break in. I find that dry and wet grip is more than adequate for street driving. Breakaway is very predictable and controlled. Sidewalls are a little soft for my liking but not a big deal for me on a daily commuter.

You have plenty of choices under $250/tire. If you don't have a need for all-season traction, that car would really benefit from a more capable summer performance tire. You give up a decent amount of driving performance in warm weather, dry and wet by choosing an all-season rubber compound. My favorites in that price range would be the Continental Extreme Contact DW and the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo. The Continental will give a bit more tread life and be quieter than the Hankook, but the price of the Continental does reflect this accordingly.
