hey guys, i got some BR5s and have a few issues with them. the lip is chrome or highly-polished, i can't 100% tell, but am wondering if they're clearcoated or not. i need to know because i'm trying to find a wax or protectant for them. suggestions while you're here?

and the center, there are scratches from a shipping mishap. can these be fine-sanded away? i was told they're diamond-cut, which is the same as JDM polish by gs4will. is that true? cause the spokes are not just a flat surface, but have tiny ridges as is they were spun in a circle and the shape was shaved out. sanding would eventually produce a flat surface in the middle of these "ridges"? help...

I can help.

The lips are polished aluminum, unless of course your ordered them chrome. They are clear coated. If you want to use something yourself on the lips, try Mothers. If you want to get them redone professionally, they can wet-sand, polish, then re-seal them.

I'm no wheel guru, I just had mine (fronts) redone.
