Can someone tell me what Tuner wheels are? I wish to know what makes them different from any other type of wheel.

It's hard to define but there are many different "types" of wheels. There's tuner, luxury, hot rod/muscle, lowrider, but a tuner wheel would be something like a Volk TE37, a 5zigen fn01r-c etc. A usually lightweight wheel, most have flat colors, most are 5 or 6 spokes but not all. Hope that makes sense?

Thanks for the responses. I still wouldn't know a Tuner wheel from Adam's House Cat if it fell out of the sky and landed in my lap. I'll just go back to sleep!

It's really just a term used to describe a style of wheels. You know, like some people might say "ghetto wheels" to describe some chrome wheels on a Charger or any other stereotypically ghetto car.

Don't lose sleep over it. It's pretty close to a matter of opinion anyway.

Not sure of all the different designations of wheels, but:

luxury - typically chrome and pretty with no regard for weight
tuner - not chrome (can be any other finish really), typically somewhat lightweight
performance - not chrome, usually forged or other lightweight construction
