Default Need your input and opinions. Hankook Ventus V12

Guys soon I'll need to change tires on my 20" Work VSXX. I'm looking at the hankook ventus v12. Before I make the final decision I wanna hear your past experience and feedback on these tires. I dont race or track my car at all. I use my car mainly for spirited driving and cruising around. Also I use my car as a daily driver. My main concern is tire wear, road noise. Please submit your feedbacks and opinions.

Thanks

Tommy

I had Falken 452s before I replaced them w/ the V12s and I don't know why I didn't change it earlier. Hardly any road noise. I've driven on it for about 7,000 miles and I hardly see any wear n tear.

Can't help you on the wear because I just had them installed a couple of weeks ago. Road noise is pretty minimal though.

Most people who used the are satisfied but it looks like one person is NOT happy with them.

Great tires all around. I have them on my s2000 and just ordered a set of 245-35-20s for my LS430.

I got them on my Work Gnosis GS2.. 20".. 245/35 front 275/30 back. I thought they handled pretty well during our recent rain storms and gripped pretty well. They're almost a year old and I logged 20K miles on them so far. Wear is even and I still got a lot of tread left. Not sure if I'm being hypersensitive but the noise level seems to be creeping up a bit but it's still quiet. I'm very happy with these tires.

I bought a set of wheels that had these tires on them and they were brand new (at most a 100 miles on them). I was extremely happy with them. They were quiet, rode well, and had better than average wet weather traction. I don't drive my GS hard but do drive in a "spirited" manner around town and I would consider these tires to be a little soft in corners....which was not a big deal to me with my driving style. After 12k miles they were still quiet, wore very evenly, and had retained their traction but seemed to be a small difference. I measured the tread and was just barely 5/32 all the way around....so I replaced them.

I did not buy another set but for the money they are a reasonable value. YMMV.

Did you ever flipped the tires? If so, how many times? Or didn't do anything and it last 20k?

@ GS4, tires are in the same spot. I suppose I could put the right side tires on the left and the left on the right. Since the wear patern looks even I didn't bother.
