Default Best Service I've ever seen

About a week ago I bought a used set of Strasse Forged Carbon Fiber wrapped S5 wheels off a member for my IS-F and got a really good deal (Thanks Pgoffner), when I received the wheels after inspection I noticed one spoke on a wheel was cracking where the CF/paint meet on the wheel. It was a little hard to notice but in time would ruin the CF face. I figured I would put a thin layer of epoxy or clear coat on the wheel and be done with it but called Strasse to see if they had a better idea. I was called back from Chris, he was super nice, gave me a short history on my wheels and told me even though I was the 3rd owner of this set of Strasse Wheels that are two years old he would completely cover it under warranty... I almost fell over, I realize what a set of the wheels cost but that kinda customer service can not be bought, I spent way more on the car and walking into a Lexus dealer is like "who gives a poo". On top of that; one of the rear wheels has touched a curb a little bit and he told me if I want to send that one he would put a new lip on any wheel at cost. Again my jaw dropped. I have never seen a person get this level of support from a company on the hands of the 3rd owner, I had to share my experience with the rest of the Lexus community, I think I just became a Strasse Forged customer for life. Thank you Strasse.

Impressed ONLY to the extent that they are standing behind a product that justifies 'extra attention'. You are riding on like 8k worth of wheels. The damage doesn't sound like it was a case of abuse or neglect. Carbon fiber is stiff and strong but the finish/surface can be tarnished quite easily. You probably were not the first to have an issue like this. But no money out of your pocket is the happy ending. Not rainin' on your parade. Ultimately, this rocks.

Just shocked they did anything at all under warranty for a person who bought wheels used and offering to repair curb rash at cost is great
